      THE PAUL ROGERS STORY

5 musicians from the North East of England dedicated to recreating Paul Rodgers musical journey through time. From his early days with Free, through the Bad Company years, his tributes to  Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix, his work with Jimmy Page in The Firm right up to his present solo work

"2 HOGS"

"The 2 Hogs" is an all acoustic duo consisting of the lead singer and lead guitarist from one of the top north east bands called "The Whole Hog", - a band that started over 10 years ago, and is still playing to this day...

Rob is the lead vocalist who also plays Sax, and Paul plays acoustic guitar and backing vocals. They have both played in bands for many years, during this time they have had several original records released, and toured the country playing live gigs in venues of all sizes from small pubs to 2000+ seater theaters...

They formed the duo to play smaller venues that are not really suitable for a 5 piece band and also, to play a wider range material that will suit all tastes. They started the duo in the summer of 2011, and have been really well recieved.

"THE RUSS TIPPINS ELECTRIC BAND"

The band has been together since October 2009, initially playing Rock & Blues covers around the bar & club circuit in the North-East of England. By Spring 2010, they'd cooked up enough ideas to go and make their own album at Newcastle’s Cluny Studios.

All three band members are established professional musicians. Russ has been one of the most popular performers on the N.E live music circuit over the last 10 years, whether playing solo or with the acclaimed Led Zeppelin tribute Zep3 (now disbanded).

John Dawson & Ian Halford come pretty much as a matched pair, having already played together in 2 different bands over the last 5 years, plus work on the theatre circuit including shows like Footloose, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
